Excited about writing a new blog post or an article or a content for your website but stuck with the so-called rules? With these certain rules coming up daily, writing becomes exhausting even before you start doing it. So listen up, YOU ARE A WRITER AND YOU DON'T NEED NO RULES. Yeah you read that right.

Writers has a right to be as creative as they want to but there are oh-so-many myths that stops them from doing so.

For all the writers out there and to the people who find it easy to judge, Its high time to bust these 7 horrifying myths about content writing:

1. Anyone can write

The first and the foremost, Anyone can write. I can't even tell you how wrong you are at this point.

Writing, in any form, needs skills and of-course an out of the box attitude that not anyone and everyone possess.

2. Nobody likes reading long posts

Again, That's not true. The length of your writing depends on the subject you are writing on and on your targeted audience. If they find it relevant and interesting, they are gonna give it a thumbs up anyway.

3. You need to be SEO friendly always

Don't run behind SEO to make your content popular, All you need to do is to give your best at what you're writing. Make it worth reading and attractive to the audience. This builds popularity and following which is much more important then any ranking you'll ever need.

5. Writing is easy

SAY WHAT!- yes. exactly. That's exactly my reaction when i hear people saying that. like seriously though? You actually think it's easy.

HELL NO!

6. Publish content related to your organization only

Not gonna spam you with all those figures but the statistics shows people do not prefer reading the promotional content all the time. Keep it engaging and fun. Opt a just-for-you and not an all-about-us approach in your content.

7. Content writing is all about making sales

Nope. :) We do it to build relationship and staying connected with the audience.

At the end it's a writer's job to give the best user experience to the readers no matter what. Give them what they want to read and leave rest everything behind.

Tell us how you like it in the comment section below. Until next time, Break the myths and write your heart out!
